STELLITE 6 is the most widely used of the wear resistance cobalt-based alloy and exhibits good all-round performance.
Stellite alloys are available in many different grades (chemical compositions) and several different processes ormethods of manufacture. These different processes include casting, powder metallurgy, and wrought. For wrought grade, there is stellite 6B and stellite 6K.
